When we got started on the Isaac Bear Bearhaws logo design, we Googled “Bearhawks” and quickly realized they didn’t yet exist. After many sketches, we arrived at this interpretation and balanced the complex bear and wing shapes with an overall simple geometric design. We made sure to create the mythical bearhawk with an expression that was more stoic than aggressive, as we wanted to stay true to the educational identity of the early college high school.
