When a Website Project Creates More Than Just a Website
When the Light House Inn contacted us about creating a new website to match their complete renovation of nine new luxury apartment suites we knew they needed help with more than just a website. They also needed to establish a brand guide including a new logo, fonts, and color selections. We created all of these things for them, in addition to making sure that the design was mobile-friendly and responsive.
We made sure that everything we did for this client was cohesive which is why when you visit their site your experience will be seamless with the quality of their hotel's look and service.
Owned by a family of world travelers who found their home in nearby Wilmington, NC, The Hemingway’s saw the possibilities in The Light House. Pouring their heart and soul into this project, they were able to add a breath of life into this Inn and capture the sense of worldly adventure. They completely gutted and renovated all nine oceanview rooms to create a boutique oceanfront hotel In the heart of Kure Beach, NC. The nine seaside suites offer panoramic views, bright modern interiors, plush linens, and cozy coastal living spaces.
The Hemingway's hotel was now a luxurious, high-end establishment, and the digital marketing materials needed to match.
In the process of promoting their new high-end look, The Light House partnered with Springer Studios to assist in the creation of new branding materials and a website that better aligned with their new vision for the luxury property. As a primary means of digital marketing and engagement, the new website for The Light House needed to reinforce the upgrade in quality to anyone who had previously stayed at the hotel while also reaching new customers interested in a luxury vacation.
Additionally, The Light House needed assistance with all the ingredients necessary to create a new website, from copyrighting and design to drone video and branding elements.
After conducting a kick-off meeting to brainstorm ideas with The Light House team the designers at Springer Studios quickly began to mock up possible logos and color pallets. Once the branding, inclusive of voice and tone for the messaging was finalized then work on the website began. In order to deliver a final website that included the desired functionality and style to match the look of the refurbished property, Springer Studios developed the core of the website in WordPress with a custom-tailored responsive theme. Along the way, core messaging like, “a little place for big moments” and “come find your wave” were implemented along with each page of the website following best practices for search engine optimized content. The new website is an exciting, attractive, and ethereal visitor experience — much like The Light House itself. During the process, we were able to update their brand and messaging to match this beautifully renovated vacation destination in Kure Beach. Their brand storytelling is further elevated through the use of a birds-eye view of the beach strand directly in front of the hotel and by giving the photography of the hotel room to shine. We're truly excited about the dramatically improved luxury brand results we were able to help The Light House achieve through the new web design.
